Action Station Softball

This term I did softball. Softball was so so fun I loved it. I found it challenging to catch it with the bad glove.

My favorite part was when we played 3 balls. I learnt how to play a new game named 3 balls.

I enjoyed throwing the ball.

If it was an option again I would definitely choose it again.

life education

On Thursday and Friday we went to life education and we learnt about the 9 basic Needs. The basic needs are oxygen, healthy food, water, exercise, sleep, love, safety, clean and shelter.

We also learn how the heart works and blood moves. The blood is not red but very very dark blue. The veins take blood away from the heart and arteries take blood to the heart.

At the life education van was Jo and Harold.Harold is a giraffe he is very very silly he likes to wear a pretend moustache .He likes to tell jokes. Would you like to visit Harold?

axolotl life cycle

To begin the life cycle a female axolotl lays hundreds of eggs in freshwater like a pond or a stream. The eggs take about 21 days until they hatch.

From the egg tiny creatures like tadpoles emerge. They have gills to breathe. they look like underwater acrobats.

Now the axolotls can float, swim , walk and breathe in its underwater habitat. They stay like this for the rest of their lives eating worms, small fish and shrimp.

Axolotls are interesting nocturnal amphibians because they mostly remain in the water all their lives unlike the salamander.
